An ambitious concept and highest point in the world is nothing but a myth. It has been always thought to be unattainable and unattainable, but now it has been proved that there are many things that lie beyond our imagination, beyond our limits!
Antarctica, the most remote, coldest and windiest continent on Earth. The Pinnacles lie at the eastern coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, stretching from the Beardmore Glacier eastwards to Prydz Bay. There they stand out as isolated hills surrounded by snowfields; they’re famous as ‘The Pinnacles’. They are composed of ice-covered rock that has eroded through millennia into peaks resembling pinnacles or minarets. At the South Pole, Antarctica is mostly covered by snow and ice. The landscape is almost the same everywhere, but there are some places that start to look really different. Just a few thousand kilometers (over 3000 miles) away from the South Pole lie extensive mountain ranges, called “Pinnacles” by scientists. These rocky peaks rise up to 8-9 km (5-6 miles) above the sea level and become one of the most striking sights on Earth. It is hard to imagine them as being a part of a cold and desolate continent like Antarctica but they make a perfect proof of what happens when people set out to explore far away lands.

This footage was captured in November 2018 on my Antarctica trip.
The Pinnacles, commonly referred to simply as the Pinnacles and sometimes known as the Devils Chasm, are a series of rock formations located in the Southern Indian Ocean on the Antarctic Peninsula. The formations are accessible to tourists who visit Antarctica via commercial or scientific research vessels or use commercial airlines. Visitors are guided through the unique formations by a guide stationed at each point.
Antarctica, the most southern of all continents, has a lot of diversity and many places to visit. The Pinnacles are impressive cliffs that rise vertically out of fjords and bays. Most tourists come to Antarctica to see penguins as well as beautiful scenery, which is certainly something that can be seen here in the Pinnacles!
