The Bolivian salt flats, also known as the Salar de Uyuni, are a vast expanse of salt flats located in the southwest of Bolivia. At over 10,000 square kilometers, the Bolivian salt flats are the largest salt flats in the world and are known for their stunning and otherworldly landscapes. The salt flats are formed by the accumulation of salt and other minerals on the surface of the earth, creating a flat, white expanse that stretches as far as the eye can see.
The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is the less-visited side of the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, United States. It is located about 10 miles north of the South Rim and is only open from mid-May to mid-October due to heavy snowfall in the winter months.
